Newly appointed Minister for Health, Population and Drinking Water Nisha Mehta has expressed the view that the health sector should be encouraged. At the inauguration and welcome program organized at the ministry on Friday, she said that the lack of encouragement for health sector workers has created a situation where they go abroad. She said, 'We should create an environment where these workers can stay in the country and be encouraged.'

Minister Mehta said that the government will prioritize the work of satisfying the people and the health sector workers. She said that only by satisfying the workers can results be achieved and the people will receive reliable services.

She stressed that doctors and nurses are not getting opportunities according to their capabilities and stressed that such problems should be solved.
