The Medical Education Commission meeting has determined the quota of students pursuing postgraduate studies for government and private campuses.

The commission meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday determined the quota of students for postgraduate-PG studies. Talking to media persons after the meeting, Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mahavir Pun said that the meeting discussed how many seats will be given to which college for postgraduate students.

He said that more than one thousand seats have been divided for government campuses and a little less than one thousand for private ones. He said that everyone is happy about this decision of the government. He said, "The meeting of the Medical Education Commission discussed how many seats will be given to which college for postgraduate students. More than a thousand seats have been divided for government colleges and a little less than a thousand seats have been divided for private colleges. It is a job to sit at the top and allocate that many seats. All the participants are happy. Everyone has reached the number of seats. Everyone is happy.'

On Sunday, a meeting of the Education Commission was held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, who is also the chairperson of the commission.
