The 18th meeting of the Lumbini Buddhist University Assembly has approved the budget of 495.9 million rupees for the next financial year.

The budget presented by University Registrar Dr Tilakram Acharya was approved in a meeting held today at Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar under the chairmanship of Prime Minister and Chancellor KP Sharma Oli. The meeting was informed that the current standing of the university is only zero point five.

Under the direction of Chancellor Oli, all the universities (establishments) have held a meeting of the university on a short notice for the mandatory approval of the next year's budget and program from the senate meeting before the start of the new year.
