The general meeting of the 13th assembly of Sudurpaschim University has approved an estimated budget of Rs 1 billion 54 crore for the next financial year.

In a meeting held today at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister and the Chancellor of the University, KP Sharma Oli, the budget and program presented by the Registrar of the University, Prof. Dr. Vinod Alekhar, was approved with amendments.

Chancellor Oli urged to keep the financial status of the university healthy and instructed to present the budget based on the real picture. He also instructed to conduct an audit as per the rules for the year 2081/82.
