The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued an interim order to open the 34-day-long lockdown in Tribhuvan University.

Advocate Mahesh Bhattarai and others registered a writ in the Supreme Court demanding to open the locked offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Rector, Registrar, Service Commission and others. The elected members of the UNC Central Committee and SWVYU have not taken the official responsibility of the lockdown . The professors union has been taking the responsibility of the lockdown and has been obstructing the office bearers and employees from sitting and working outside the office.
