Pokhara Multipurpose Campus has received the 'Quality Assurance and Accreditation' (QAA) certificate, which is considered a symbol of academic excellence. This campus, which is run under Tribhuvan University, successfully met the various criteria set by the University Grants Commission and received this recognition formally on 21st May.

Campus Principal Shishukala Parajuli has taken this achievement as an important turning point in the journey of education reform. "The QAA certificate has motivated our campus to be more transparent, responsive and capable," she said, "but it is not the final destination, it is the basis for continuous improvement and competitiveness." She said that this achievement of the campus is the result of collective efforts and visionary planning.

2044 The campus, which was established on 14th November 2044, in the Rashtriya Mavi building in Tundikhel, Pokhara, is now operating in its own premises, Pokhara-9 Shantivan. In the initial phase of the establishment, the building of Mahendra Mavi, Nayabazar was brought into use. For the construction of the campus building, the then chairman of the board Narendraman Lalchan's support of Rs 50 lakhs was decisive. According to Internal Quality Assurance Committee Coordinator Professor Mahendra Rimal, there has been significant improvement in the infrastructure, administrative structure, academic excellence and financial transparency of the campus in recent years. He said that the campus was able to complete the QAA process successfully as a result of this process. In a press conference organized by the campus on Tuesday, he said, "After receiving the QAA certificate, the certificate of the students studying here will be recognized by international universities, which is an indicator of the academic reputation of the campus." The campus with around 500 students is planning to add programs like BBA, BIM, BIT in the future.

Campus head Parajuli said that there is a long-term plan to make the campus competitive at the national and international level. Professor Rimal informed that the campus is conducting various non-credit courses for the enhancement of practical education and useful skills. He said, 'Along with educational activities, social responsibility is also given equal importance.'

campus has been conducting district-level programs in areas such as environmental protection, gender equality, awareness of cyber security, mental health, women empowerment, life skills, self-reliance, leadership development and forest protection.
