Prime Minister and Vice-Chancellor KP Sharma Oli has formed a three-member recommendation committee under the coordination of Education, Science and Technology Minister Raghuji Pant to select the vacant Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.
According to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, the members of the committee formed on Tuesday are Geethakumari Paudyal, the member of the National Planning Commission who oversees education, and Dr. Deepak Kafle, the secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
Chancellor Oli accepted the resignation of University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kesharjung Baral on March 28 and assigned the Vice-Chancellor's responsibility to Prof. Dr. Khadg KC on March 2nd for a maximum period of three months.
