Education, Science and Technology Minister Raghuji Pant has said that the ongoing talks with the teachers' union have progressed in a positive direction. He also said that the talks with the teachers are going to be concluded as soon as possible.

He said that the teacher also presented positively in the discussion. The talks between the Minister of Education Raghuji Pant and the officials of the Maha Sangh lasted from 8 pm to 10:30 pm on Tuesday. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel and Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar also participated in the

talks. Also, it is said that a team of teachers led by the president Laxmikishore Subedi participated in the talks on behalf of the Federation. The talks between the government and the agitating teachers' union on Monday progressed positively, so talks were held again today. 

Teachers' unions have been protesting since March 20 with various demands. Because of this, teaching has been affected in public schools across the country since the beginning of the academic session 2082.
