In the elections held on Wednesday of the Independent Students' Union, the New Union has won as the president of the Kailali Multiple Campus. Santosh Pant, the candidate of Navy Sangh, won by getting 827 votes.
According to Election Officer Tarkaraj Bhatt, Pawan Sunar of Akhil Krantikari got 528 votes while Yamraj Joshi of Aneraswaviyu got 427 votes. Similarly, Ambika Choudhary, candidate of Vidyarthi Ekta Group, got 92 votes, while Sunilraj Joshi of Aneraswaviyu got 68 votes.
Omprakash Basti of Navy Sangh has won by getting 697 votes. His nearest competitor Kiran Prasad Upadhyay of Aneraswaviyu has got 498 votes. Dharmaraj Timilsena of All Revolutionaries has won the post of treasurer by defeating Pramila Shah of Navy Sangh by 4 votes. While Timilsena got 408 votes, Shah got 404 votes. Ram Rokaya, Sarita Bhatt, Poojan Bista, Janak Khadka, Devendra Dhami, Binita Chaudhary, Ram Bahadur Bogti, Pooja Od and Ganesh Dahal of Navy Sangh have won in
members.
There were a total of 3,592 voters in the campus and 2,57 votes were cast. Out of which 72 votes were invalid. Kailali Multipurpose Campus is the campus with the highest number of voters in the Swaviyu elections.
