Only 46 people from Manang are participating in this year's Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which is going to start from the 7th of Chait. The examination center has been designated at the popular Mavi located in Chame, the headquarters.
The head of education coordination unit Manang, Dhruv Prasad Koirala informed that 41 candidates for regular and five candidates for grade enhancement are going to participate in the exam. There are no examinees from Narpabhumi Rural Municipality in Manang, which has four local levels.
According to him, 21 people from Prakashjyoti Mavi of Nason Rural Municipality, four from Annapurna Mavi in Ngisyang Rural Municipality, 16 from Popular Mavi in Chame Rural Municipality are participating in the examination.
Two from Prakashjyoti Mavi and three from Popular Mavi are going to take the grade increase exam.
