In 84 campuses across the country, the leadership of the Independent Students Union (SWAVIU) has been elected unopposed. They were elected unopposed after only one person was nominated for one position during the registration of nominations on Tuesday.

In some places, student organizations have elected unanimous leadership through mutual understanding. President Dujang Sherpa said that out of 84 unopposed campuses, Nepal Student Union has won the presidentship of 33 campuses.

Similarly, President Samik Badal claimed that Aneraswawiyu won the presidentship of Swawiyu in 30 campuses, while Akhil Krantikari won in the remaining 21 campuses. Out of the 22 campuses in Kathmandu Valley, the candidature registration process has been blocked in 6 campuses.

Nepal Law, Shankardeva, Padyamkanya, Saraswati, Public Youth and Bishwabhasha campuses have not proceeded with the election process. There was a program to register candidacy for the election on Tuesday in private, community and private campuses of the University.

The student organizations including the New Union, Aneraswaviyu and Akhil Krantikari have stated that their candidatures have been registered in more than 300 campuses, community and private. Voting will be held on 5th Chaitra in places where candidates have been nominated.
