Nomination papers for direct and proportional candidates have been distributed today for the Independent Students' Union (SWAVIU) elections.
Director of Student Welfare and Sports Directorate Pashupati Adhikari has informed that the affiliated and affiliated campuses of Tribhuvan University (Trivi) have distributed nomination papers of direct and proportional candidates and registered student organizations today for the SWA elections to be held on 5th of March.
Candidates whose nomination papers were distributed today are scheduled to register their nomination tomorrow, February 27, from 11 am to 2 pm. Samik Badal, President of ANERASWAVIU, informed that his organization has taken the nomination papers to all the campuses for the election. Suraj Sejuwal, spokesperson of Nepal Students' Union, said that nomination papers for candidacy have been taken from all campuses.
Roshan Magar, General Secretary of Aneraswaviyu (Revolutionary), said that he will register his organization's candidacy in all campuses. Swaviyu elections will be held on the same day on Chait 5th in 62 affiliated and 1040 affiliated campuses of the university across the country. 28 years age limit and mixed election system has been arranged in the election.
