Nepalese students have spent nearly 56.83 billion for studying abroad.

According to the details of the six months of the current financial year released by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the amount of money sent abroad in the name of education is increasing, although it has decreased by two billion more compared to the same period last year.

In the previous year, an amount equal to 58.95 billion was sent abroad for foreign studies. During the review period, travel expenses under the service account increased by 9.7 percent and reached one billion one billion 92 million. During the period under review, the net service income was at a loss of 43.53 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the net service income was 35.43 billion in loss.
