47 billion 34 million spent on foreign studies alone

Although there are well-equipped universities and educational institutes in the country, the number of students who want to study abroad is increasing.

According to the latest information released by the Nepal Rastra Bank, in the five months of the current financial year, Nepali students have spent 47.34 billion for foreign educational programs alone. 

According to the information released by Nepal Rastra Bank, the travel expenses have increased by 12.2 percent and reached 85.1 billion. Out of that, expenditure on education is 47.41 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the travel expenses were 75 billion 73 million.

Until the middle of last December, the net service income is at a loss of 40 billion 71 crores. During the same period of the previous year, the net service income was at a loss of 26.55 billion. Under the service account, the visit income during the review period is three decimal one  The percentage has increased to 35 billion 19 million. In the same period of the previous year, such income was 34.12 billion.
