Tribhuvan University has appointed campus heads in 24 official campuses across the country on Sunday. The spokesperson of the university, Amensingh Bohora, said that the meeting of the executive council decided to appoint the campus head. The university formed a selection and recommendation committee for the appointment of the campus head.
The appointment was made on the basis of the committee's recommendation, according to Trivi. Procedures have also been issued for inviting and evaluating applications for appointment on the basis of competition. Through the same process, TRI has also appointed 8 deans.
According to University spokesperson Bohara, associate professor Kapil Khanal at Shankardev Campus Kathmandu, associate professor Jitendra Prasad Upadhyay at Nepal Commerce Campus, associate professor Yam Prasad Sharma at Lalitkala Campus, Lucky Prasad Joshi at Bhairawaha Campus, and associate professor Madhav Prasad Shrestha at Sanothimi Campus have been appointed as campus heads. Similarly, Associate Professor Lalmani Acharya at Mahendra Multipurpose Campus Nepalgunj, Associate Professor Madhav Prasad Khanal at Surkhet Universal, Associate Professor Mahendra Kumar Budhathoki at Vishwabhasha Campus Kathmandu, Associate Professor Raghuveer Bista at Patan United Campus and Associate Professor Arun Kumar Chhetri at Butbal Universal Campus have been appointed as head.
