The results of the review writing competition organized for students participating in the play 'Kartavya' presented by Ojas Theater and organized by Tarang Natya Group, Chitwan, were made public during a program at Narayani Kala Mandir, Narayangadh on Magh 7.
The program was chaired by Narayani Kala Mandir President Anukul Shrestha and was attended by Bharatpur Metropolitan Pragya Pratishthan President Indra Prasad Regmi as the chief guest. Bharatpur Metropolitan PABSON President Minraj Bastakoti and PABSON Central Member Shri Kritinidhi Aryal were the guests.
44 students from 17 schools within Bharatpur Metropolitan participated in the competition. Professor and critic of Birendra Multiple Campus Shri Ramesh Kumar Shrestha (Ramesh Prabhat) was the judge.
Kalash Ale Magar of Narayani English Boarding School was declared the best in the competition. Similarly, Ashwini Chapagain of Aroma English Secondary School, Manyata Gupta of Balkumari English School, Bipana Adhikari of Small Heaven School, Kalyanpur and Sahana Chhetri of Prerna Secondary English School were declared the best.
The best student was awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000, a certificate and a trophy, while the best four were awarded Rs 2,000 each, a certificate and a trophy, according to the organizer.
The play 'Kartavya', directed by Pushparaj Awasthi, was staged at Narayani Kala Mandir, Narayangadh on Mangsir 1, 2 and 3, 2082 BS. Students from 37 schools within Bharatpur Metropolitan City and Gaindakot Municipality participated in the play.
