Artist Kiran Manandhar's special painting exhibition has started. The exhibition started simultaneously at Thamel Museum of Nepali Art, Kathmandu Art House, Kathmandu Guest House and KGH Patan.
In the first exhibition in collaboration with Ncell Foundation, some of the paintings created during Manandhar's half-century-long artistic journey have been put on display. According to the organizer Museum of Nepali Art, the painting that exposed the decades of color, line and chaos covers the various dimensions of this period.
'The name of the exhibition comes from the name of the artist himself, Kiran, which means light,' said Rajan Shakya, chief curator of the Museum of Nepali Art.
artist Manandhar said that this type of exhibition will play an important role in the promotion and development of Nepali art and culture. He expressed confidence that it will play a role in transferring knowledge, skills and art especially to the new generation. "I have organized this kind of exhibition several times, it gives me the opportunity to interview with the audience as well as the opportunity to exchange knowledge about art and culture," he said.
