Nepal Heritage Recovery Campaign (NHRC) has organized the 'International Conference on Cultural Heritage Recovery 2025'.
NHRC is an active organization for the discovery, identification and recovery of stolen cultural heritage of Nepal.
is being held at the Common South Asia Center, Pulchowk in Lalitpur from Monday in collaboration with the Department of Archeology under the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. The conference to be held until the 4th will discuss and interact about the return of stolen, looted or illegally disposed heritage from around the world. In the
program, there is a debate between international experts, advocates, policy makers and local community representatives. On the first day of the conference, sessions were held on the issues of stolen property from Nepal, Cambodia, Poland and India.
Likewise, the role of museums, auction houses and the international art market were also discussed. The keynote speaker on the second day of the program will be Professor Amr Al-Azam of Shani State University, Ohio. He is a person who has been investigating property theft in West Asia.
