Photojournalist Prakashchandra Timilsena has exhibited the photos he collected during 10 years after the earthquake of 12th Baisakh 2072. Referring to the 10th Earthquake Memorial Day, he held a photo exhibition at Barpak, the epicenter of the earthquake, on Friday.

The photo exhibition was inaugurated and viewed by former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey. Journalist Timilsena has put on display 60 photos taken by himself after the earthquake at the Himalaya Mavi campus in Barpak. "I have put on display here the photos from the ruins of the houses that collapsed in Barpak to those built after the earthquake," Timilsena said, "This photo also reflects the situation after the earthquake."  He said that the

picture will show whether or not our structures are earthquake resistant. "Before the earthquake, the beauty and originality of Barpak was different, now Barpak has become like a city," he said, "There can be a debate that basic houses can also be built in an earthquake-resistant manner."  Timilsena said that the pictures displayed in the

exhibition will be provided for the Earthquake Museum of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality. Timilsena is a photojournalist of Kantipur Dainik.
