Movie 'Jar' has been produced based on the story of writer Indra Bahadur Rai. Director Phoorwachiring Lama informed that the film is prepared according to the story of writer Rai.

He said, 'We have prepared the movie keeping in mind the feelings of the readers who read the story. We have prepared the movie in such a way that it will appeal to both those who have read this story and new viewers.'

The movie will be screened on 26th Baisakh 2082. Sougat Malla, Anupavikram Shahi, Gitanjali Thapa and others have acted in the movie. Filmed in Sikkim, India, cinematography by Saravanan Ilavarsu, editing by Akhilesh Rai and music composed by Jhuma Limbu and Ganga Thapa.
