In the second inter-school folk dance competition held in Butwal, the Kanti Mavi 'B' group won the title for the community school. In the same way, Everest Secondary School has won in the institutional aspect.

title, both the schools received a prize of 75 thousand rupees each. On the community side, Siddeshwar Lalkumari M.A. managed to be second. Damodar Gyawali, the deputy director of the sub-metropolis, informed that Tinau English Boarding School got the second place among institutions. He said that the school received a prize of 50/50 thousand rupees. In the competition, the 'B' group of Navin Industrial Kadar Bahadur Rita Secondary School won the third place and got a prize of Rs 35,000. Among the institutional schools, Scholars Home English Secondary School came third and got a prize of 35 thousand rupees. In the competition, community side Bhawani and Naveen Industrial Kadar Bahadur Rita Mavi 'A' group won the consolation place did On the institutional side, Intellectual Academy and Ex-British Army School got the consolation position and each got a prize of 25/25 thousand rupees. Speaking at the
prize distribution program, Sub-Metropolitan Chief Khelraj Pandey mentioned that the competition was held for the preservation of local art, culture and traditional identity. The vice-metropolitan said that the competition was started last year with the aim of increasing the campaign from the school level for the protection of folk culture, religion and ethnic traditions.
