'Nepal-India Color Festival' will be held in Kathmandu from next Wednesday, where six plays from Nepal and India will be staged. The festival is going to be organized by the Nepal Sangeet and Natya Pragya Foundation in collaboration with the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi, India.

The plays will be staged at Jamal's Cultural Institute Rashtriya Nachghar from Wednesday to January 30 from 5 pm.

'We are going to hold a drama festival for the first time,' Nisha Sharma, Chancellor of the Nepal Sangeet and Natya Pragya Academy, said in a press conference held on Thursday, 'We believe that this festival will enrich the relationship between Nepal and India. We hope it will connect our common heritage, creativity and the deep language of art. Three plays each from Nepal and India have participated in the

festival. In which from Nepal 'Gachchami' directed by Sunil Pokharel, 'Katha Kasturi' directed by Diya Maske and 'June Parikatha not only' directed by Namrata KC and from India 'Mai Ri Mein Ka Se Kahun' directed by Ajay Kumar, 'Babuji' directed by Rajesh Singh and directed by Chitaranjan Tripathi.
