One person has died due to electrocution in Doti. Police have said that Harka Bahadur Palli Magar, aged around 50/51, of the same place died of electrocution while he was repairing windows and doors at his house in Kharhar, Badikedar Rural Municipality-2 of the district.

Harka Bahadur Palli Magar of the same place was suddenly electrocuted at around 4:45 pm on Saturday while repairing windows and doors at the house of local Dambar Bahadur Palli Magar. He died on the spot after being seriously injured due to electrocution, informed the District Police Office Doti Deputy Superintendent of Police Ran Bahadur Chand.

Ward member Tara Ramjali informed the police about the incident over the telephone at around 8:30 pm. As soon as the information was received, a 7-member police team under the command of Police Inspector Bir Bahadur Bohara from the Area Police Office Bipinagar has been deployed to the spot. Police have said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
