All nine local levels of the district have made public the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. As of Wednesday, the budgets including income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year have been made public in the village and municipal assemblies of all nine local levels.

Mahakali Municipality, located in the district headquarters, has made public a budget of Rs 697.41 million for the upcoming fiscal year. On Wednesday, Deputy Mayor Durga Khatri presented the budget and said that Rs 607.41 million has been allocated for current expenditure, Rs 78.01 million for capital expenditure and Rs 96.32 million for financial transfers.

Earlier, Mayor Narsingh Chaisir had presented the municipality's policy and program in the municipal assembly. While presenting the policy and program, he mentioned that the programs launched by the municipality in the past have been continued.

Shailyashikhar Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 813.31 million. Deputy Mayor Shanti Khadayat, while presenting the budget, said that a budget of Rs 428.375 crore has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 380.944 crore for capital expenditure. Earlier, in the policy and program presented by the Municipality Mayor Vijay Singh Dhami in the municipal assembly, he had mentioned that the previous program has been continued.

Malikarjun Rural Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 686.934 crore for the upcoming fiscal year. Vice President Kalyan Singh Dhami said that Rs 499.17 crore has been allocated for current expenditure and Rs 187.917 crore for capital expenditure. Earlier, Municipality Mayor Hira Singh Dhami had presented the policy and program of the rural municipality in the village assembly.

Marma Rural Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 512.312 crore for the upcoming fiscal year. Vice President Sharmila Kumari Chand Singh has announced that Rs 373.5 million 5 thousand has been allocated for current and Rs 138.8 million 7 thousand for capital. Municipality Mayor Jaman Singh Dhami mentioned in the policy and program that the programs launched in the past have been continued.

Api Himal Rural Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 443.5 million 44 thousand. Vice President Devaki Bohara, while presenting the budget, said that Rs 246.2 million 82 thousand has been allocated for current and Rs 186.9 million 59 thousand for capital. Municipality Mayor Bhagat Singh Thekare Bohara said that the budget has been brought with the aim of making development and service delivery effective.

Duhu Rural Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 377.7 million 74 thousand. Vice President Shanti Bam said that Rs 287.42 million has been allocated for current and Rs 96.3 million 32 thousand for capital.

Naugad Rural Municipality has made public a budget of Rs 527 million 98 thousand. Vice-Chairman Jagatsingh Thagunna has made public a budget of Rs 336 million 22 thousand for the current and Rs 191 million 76 thousand for the capital. In the village assembly, the policy and program presented by the municipality chairman Daljitsingh Dhami stated that the goal is to make development and service delivery effective.
