All nine local levels of the district have made public the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84. As of Wednesday, the budgets including income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year have been made public in the village and municipal assemblies of all nine local levels.

Mahakali Municipality, located in the district headquarters, has made public a budget of Rs 697.41 million for the upcoming fiscal year.
