The heat has increased significantly in the Western Terai for the past few days. The maximum temperature here has reached around 40 degrees. Due to this, the municipality has decided to give a holiday to schools by deducting 3 days from the summer vacation, stating that it will affect the health of students, according to a notice signed by Mayor Hemraj Ojha.
The decision has been made to give a holiday to all community and institutional schools in the municipal area. ‘The summer has made it difficult for children to go to school,’ said Mayor Ojha, ‘We have decided to give a holiday now by deducting it from the accumulated vacation.’
