Two people have gone missing after a boat capsized in the Karnali River in Bhairavsthan, Turmakhand Rural Municipality-3, Achham. The missing are Pahal Singh Budha, 35, and his 13-year-old son Nari, from Balde, Turmakhand-3. On Thursday evening, the boat driver, father, and son went missing when the boat capsized in the Karnali River while they were cutting grass from the forest in Panchapuri Municipality-7, Surkhet, across the Karnali River.
A team has been deployed from the Temporary Police Security Base Upper Karnali, Police Post Bhairavsthan, Dhungachalna, and Dhakari to search for the missing, and a team trained in disaster relief from the Armed Police Force is heading to the incident site, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal, Chief of the District Police Office, Achham.
