The area administration office has been established in the district and services have been operational. The area administration office was inaugurated by Ministry of Home Affairs spokesperson Anand Kafle at a ceremony in BP Nagar on Wednesday.

With the establishment of the office, it is expected that the local citizens will no longer have to go to the district headquarters.

Speaking at the inauguration program, spokesperson Kafle said that the area administration office has been expanded with the aim of providing easy, fast and accessible services to the citizens. 

Residents of Wards No. 1, 2 and 3 of Jorayal, Badikedar and Bogtan Phudsil Rural Municipality will be able to directly avail services from the new office. Citizens of this area will now no longer have to travel long distances to avail administrative services including citizenship and recommendation.

The service was inaugurated by the chief guest granting citizenship to Sobita Bohara, a resident of Ward No. 1 of Badikedar Rural Municipality. Local residents said that they have received great relief with the establishment of the area administration office.
