The lack of a Chief Administrative Officer in Badikedar Rural Municipality for almost two months has affected daily administrative work. Locals have complained that the lack of officers is causing delays in the provision of essential services, including plan approval, budget disbursement, and recommendations. According to the employees of the rural municipality, important files are pending decisions, and development work has also slowed down.

Although the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration recommended Branch Officer Dilliram Bhatta as the Chief Administrative Officer on Chaitra 19, 2082, he has not been able to attend the office yet. Bhatta has informed that he was unable to attend due to family problems.

Rural Municipality Chairman Bhairav Saund said that due to the lack of officers, employees have not received salaries for two months and administrative work, including plan agreements, has been affected for three months. “We have repeatedly requested the ministry, but no hearing has been held,” he said. He said that retaining employees in municipalities in remote areas of the hilly districts is a challenge.  "Employees do not want to come to such places, and even if they do, they do not stay," he said. "The government needs to think seriously about this."
