One person injured in a jeep accident in Bogtan Phudsil Rural Municipality of Doti has died. Police said that Junadevi Saud, 66, of Bogtan Phudsil Rural Municipality-3 Melta, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment.

According to the District Police Office, Doti, Saud was taken to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi, Kailali and was declared dead by doctors at 8:15 pm on Sunday. Sita Saud, 17, and Sharda Saud, 19, of Bogtan Phudsil-3 Melta, who were injured in the same accident, and the jeep driver, Tirtha Bogati, 27, of Bogtan Phudsil-6 Paladi, are undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital.

A Bolero jeep bearing number Suppra 03 001 Cha 0014, located in Dhaulabasti, Bogtan Phudsil-3, met with an accident around 1 pm on Sunday. The jeep, which was coming from Bogtan towards Dipayal, backed up while giving way to another vehicle and fell about 150 meters off the road.
