One person died in a jeep accident in Baitadi on Friday night around 11 pm.
The jeep bearing number Sup 04/001 Ja 0069 met with an accident while going from Bachla to Pacharbeu in Shivnath Rural Municipality-3 of the district.
The jeep driver, Keshav Singh Dhami, 26, of Pacharbeu in the same rural municipality-2, died in the accident, said Suraj Singh, Information Officer and Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Baitadi.
He said the jeep fell about 200 meters off the road. Police have said that the jeep may have veered off the dirt road and fell out of control. The body of the driver Dhami has been kept at Kesharpur Primary Health Center Melauli for postmortem.
