Locals are scared after tigers from Shuklaphanta National Park entered the settlement and started killing livestock. The Trishakti Consumers' Committee has also urged them to be vigilant.
After the tigers started coming to the settlement, locals around the park have been requested not to walk at night, if they have to walk, only in groups with sufficient light (torch light), and to keep the bushes and bushes around the houses and huts clean, said committee chairman Daman Bahadur Chand.
'We have warned people not to go alone when going to work in the fields bordering the park, to cut firewood or to graze livestock, and to work only in groups,' he said. 'If you see a tiger anywhere or if you know that a tiger has killed livestock, we have urged you to report it to the park administration, Nepali Army, municipality or ward office.'
