A police constable has been found dead in Bangabagar Bazaar, the district headquarters of Darchula.

Police Constable Yogendra Gharti was found dead in Bangabagar, Mahakali Municipality-4, on Tuesday morning, the District Police Office, Darchula, has said. 

According to the police, the body was found behind houses above the road. After seeing the body, locals informed the police and police were immediately deployed to the scene. 

Police have said that the incident is suspicious.
