2,600 security personnel will be deployed in Baitadi for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

Chief District Officer Krishna Thapa informed that Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army and Election Police are being deployed in the election.

According to the District Security Committee, out of 129 polling stations, 33 have been classified as highly sensitive, 28 as sensitive and 68 as general. Similarly, 214 polling stations have been set up. 

Similarly, 1,442 employees, including 10 percent reserve, will be deployed for the election. Election Officer Khagendra Bharati of the Election Office Baitadi said that details have been collected from the government offices in the district for the mobilization of employees. He said that the mobilization of employees for the election will be carried out within a few days.

There are 11 candidates in Baitadi. There are 156,372 voters in the district.
