The Doti Festival, which was scheduled to begin on February 1, has been postponed due to the election code of conduct. The festival, which was supposed to be organized by the Doti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was postponed following the directives of the Election Commission of Nepal.

The festival, which had already received permission from the District Administration Office, Doti on Poush 23, was in the final stages of preparation when the Election Commission on Magh 4 had directed that the code of conduct be strictly followed in publicity and public programs. In accordance with the same directive, the working committee meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry held on Magh 17 decided to postpone all activities of the festival, the association has stated.

The association has expressed gratitude to all the artists, writers, businessmen, employees and supporters involved in the preparations for the festival. It has also apologized for the inconvenience caused by the postponement and expressed gratitude to the audience, public representatives and all the people of Doti.

The Doti Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also expressed its commitment to bring new programs in the coming days, keeping the development, prosperity and progress of Doti at the center.
