Armed Police Force (APF) Nepal No. 51 Battalion Baitadi in the Far Western Province has been declared the 'Excellent Battalion' and Battalion Chief DSP Jang Bahadur Kunwar has been declared the best commander in the province.

The Armed Police Force has succeeded in becoming the best squad in the province in 2082 based on the evaluation of the work performed by 6 squads in the province. Similarly, DSP Kunwar has been declared the best commander among the squad commanders across the province.

The squad was declared the best based on the evaluation of work including border security, prevention and control of cross-border crime, internal administration, revenue collection, customs fraud control. Similarly, Kunwar was declared the best commander and awarded based on the evaluation of his remarkable work in organizational mobilization, commanding ability, strengthening of civil-armed police relations and border monitoring.

On the occasion of the 25th Armed Police Day, Squad No. 51 Baitadi and DSP Kunwar were declared the best squad and commander in the province and awarded, according to the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 51 Squad Baitadi.
