Vehicular traffic will be partially closed in the Khasrekhan area of ​​the important Syaule-Anarkoli road section in Dadeldhura district for road improvement and widening work.

The decision to temporarily close the road has been taken to ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles as necessary road cutting is required in the Khasrekhan section of the road.

According to Dadeldhura Assistant Chief District Officer Amar Bahadur Wali, the road will be closed twice a day for a month from Poush 19 (tomorrow) to Magh 19. During this period, the road in Khasrekhan, which falls under the Syaule-Anarkoli road section, will be completely closed from 6 am to 9 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm. Similarly, the Pokhara-Belapur road will also be closed during the same time. The rest of the time, he informed.

The administration says that the road in the Khasrekhan area is narrow, winding and risky, so it is not possible to travel safely without widening the road and improving it. That is why it has been decided to close the road for a certain period, saying that since large machines and equipment are required during the construction work, the risk of operating vehicles may increase.

The Syaule-Anarkholi road section is a major highway connecting the hilly and mountainous districts of the Sudurpaschim Province. Passengers and freight vehicles travel daily to and from Darchula, Baitadi, and Bajhang districts using this road. The administration says that although the road closure will cause some inconvenience to passengers traveling to and from those districts, it is necessary to endure temporary inconvenience for the construction of a safe and smooth road in the long term.
