He complains that even though the locals have been raising their voices for years, they have not been listened to. He said that they have to go to the hills of the village to search for a network, change the SIM circle and become dependent on the SIM card of an Indian service provider, and that business activities are affected due to the low speed of the internet.

Currently, 4G service is available in 32 of the 34 tower sites of Nepal Telecom in Dadeldhura, but it has to depend on 2G in two. Telecom Dadeldhura has stated that problems in the power supply required for the operation of the towers and the obligation to rely on many towers using solar systems have added challenges to the continuity of service.
Telecom has stated that it has had to operate towers using solar systems in places including Alital, Gangkhet, Jabati and Lamijala in Parshuram.
