A young man has died after being electrocuted while fishing with an electric current in Kailali.
Shyam Lal Chaudhary, 29, of Janaki Rural Municipality-2, Pragathinagar, was seriously injured after being electrocuted while fishing in the Rora River.
He was taken to Tikapur Hospital for treatment in his injured condition, but he died during treatment there, according to the Tikapur Area Police Office.
Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
