Six people were arrested with drugs from different places in Kailali on Friday. They were taken into custody after various teams of the district police seized brown heroin at separate locations and based on special information.
Rijan Magar, 19, and Akash Chaudhary, 22, of Lamkichuha Municipality-1 Thakalipur, were arrested while checking a motorcycle with number 01-009 Pa 3511 in Kusamghat, Bhajani Municipality-3 of the district.
Police said that 5 grams and 420 milligrams of brown heroin were found with them. A team deployed from the Bhajani Area Police Office took both of them under control along with the heroin and the motorcycle.
Similarly, Kamal Jaisi, 29, and Laxman Bohara, 26, of Piperkoti, Bagmar area of Lamki Municipality-6, were arrested with 150 milligrams of brown heroin. They were taken under control by a team deployed from the Lamki Area Police Office.
Police arrested Vijay Bista, 20, and Raj Chaudhary, 25, while checking a motorcycle with number Se 6 Pa 7594 in Geta, Godavari Municipality-5 at 10 pm last night based on a special information. 5 grams 750 milligrams of brown heroin have been recovered from their possession.
Both of them were taken into custody along with a motorcycle by a joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau Branch Office Mahendranagar, the Provincial Police Office Mahendranagar and the Police Post Geta.
According to the police, further investigation is underway on all six people arrested on Friday.
