One person was killed and another injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Friday afternoon on the inner road section at Aamthala, Bedkot Municipality-8, Kanchanpur.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara of the District Police Office, 31-year-old Shiva Rana of Suda, Bedkot Municipality-7 died in the accident. Rana was seriously injured when the motorcycle (M2P 8402) he was riding collided with an Argo mixer machine driven by Awadhesh Kumar Mahato, a resident of Bihar, India.
Rana was taken to Mahakali Provincial Hospital for treatment, but died during treatment in the afternoon, Bohara said. Bhim Rana, 30, who was riding behind the motorcycle, was injured in the accident. He is currently undergoing treatment at Mahakali Provincial Hospital.
