Haruli Karki, 58, of Dhan, Dilasaini Rural Municipality-7, and Indra Singh Saud, 61, of Barulojani, Shivnath Rural Municipality-5, have died after falling from a cliff.
Two people have died after falling from a cliff in Dilasaini and Shivnath rural municipalities of Baitadi. Haruli Karki, 58, of Dhan, Dilasaini rural municipality-7, and Indra Singh Saud, 61, of Barulojani, Shivnath rural municipality-5, died after falling from a cliff, said Police Inspector Baldev Badu, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Baitadi.
Karki died on the spot after falling from a cliff while cutting grass from a field near his house at around 4 pm on Wednesday.
Similarly, Saud died after falling from a cliff while returning home after watching a fair at the Shivnath temple on Wednesday evening, police said. The District Police Office, Baitadi, said that a detailed investigation into the rest of the incident is underway.
