A fire broke out in a godown of shoes in Lamki. According to the police, the damage caused by the fire is more than 70 lakhs.

Kalpana Traders and Suppliers on Tikapur Road in Lamkichuha Municipality-1 Lamki suddenly caught fire at 2:40 am today. Lokendra Bahadur Singh, chief police inspector of the area police office, Lamki, said that immediately after the fire broke out, the fire brigade of Lamkichuha Municipality, police and local residents brought the fire under control. 

The godown operated by Kalpana Jaishi, a resident of Lamki, had slippers and shoes. The police said that although all the goods in the warehouse were destroyed in the fire, there were no human casualties. The police said that no one was living in the godown and that the fire was being investigated.
