Due to continuous rains, the physical structures of various places of Baitadi have been damaged. Police Spokesman and Police Inspector Balram Pandey of the District Police Office informed that the two-storey shop of Dharmananda Bhatt of Bhattagaon, Patan Municipality-4 of the district was destroyed due to the landslide that occurred after the continuous rain.

Police inspector Pandey informed that the two houses are at high risk of landslides as the ground has washed away due to rain and the walls on both sides of the house have started to crack. According to him, Dhami's family of six and their livestock have been moved to a safe place.

Police spokesperson Pandey informed that the Dehimadau-Giregada road has been closed since August 14 due to a landslide near Dasharathchand-2 Sugarkhali.
'Due to the rain, the house of Ganesh Bahadur Chand, resident of Patan Municipality-6 Odali, has collapsed. The ground has washed away from the courtyard of the two-storey house of Karveer Bhatt of Purchaudi-4 Bidgaira. His six-member family has been shifted to a safe place. Also, the building of Lakshmipur Basic School is at risk due to its collapse, he said.
Chief District Officer Punya Vikram Paudel informed that the risk of disaster has increased due to rain and that the operation of vehicles has been stopped at night.
