Residents of Dodhara Chandni Municipality and Bhimdatta Municipality were displaced due to floods in Mahakali and Jogbuda rivers after continuous rains.

Among those who were displaced due to floods and inundation, 42 families have returned home. After the flow in the rivers decreased, they returned home after removing the mud and water inside the house.
According to the District Police Office, 25 families from Rampure Island of Dodhara Chandni Municipality-8, 12 families from Shanti Tol of the same municipality 10 and 5 families from Bhimdatta Municipality 11 Bhujela have returned home.
15 families of Dodhara Chandni Municipality-3 Paterakhalla, who were displaced after the flood of Jogbuda river entered the settlement, are still living in the school. There is no possibility to return home immediately because the houses are filled with floods.
After continuous rains, 57 families including 5 from Dodhara Chandni Municipality and 5 from Dodhara Chandni Municipality were displaced due to floods in Mahakali and Jogbuda rivers. Likewise, two BOPs of Sasak Police in Dodhara Chandni Municipality were also displaced.
