It has been revealed that twin brothers died in Khutiya river near Sehri Jholunge bridge, Godavari municipality-9 of Kailali on Thursday afternoon. Four of the seven teenagers who had gone to celebrate their friend's birthday drowned in the Khutia River.

Born together from Joyal Bhandari and Shanti Bhandari's womb, their lives ended together in the Khutia river. Due to this unbearable pain, not only Bhandari family but entire Dhangadhi is in grief.

According to the police, the 17-year-old son of Dilliraj Joshi and Haripriya Joshi of Dhangadhi-4 Taranagar, Saksham Joshi, Baliram Chaudhary of Dhangadhi-5 and Prateek Chaudhary, 15-year-old son of Sondevi Chaudhary, died along with Bhandari. Three of them were studying in Valmiki International School and one in Galaxy School in class 11.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ran Bahadur Chand, Chief of Malakheti, who reached the spot, the teenagers entered the river around 12:30 in the afternoon. Their dead bodies were found in the disaster along the banks of the river with the help of local residents, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force after about four hours, at 4 pm.

DSP Chand said, "Seven friends drowned on their way back to Waripatti after enjoying their birthday and having dinner." It seems that after one person drowned, while trying to save him, three other people also died. The remaining three remained safe because they were stopped at the crossing.'  Out of the seven participants in the

group, Naveen Dadal, Yuvraj Kunwar and Akash Mall are unharmed. The police said that they were found half-naked near the incident site. The body has now been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital for post-mortem. The police said that the family will be handed over after the test.
