The 'Ujyalo Darshathchand' program has been conducted in the Dasharathchand municipality located in the district headquarters. Raj Bahadur Bista informed that the program was started by installing bulbs in the main markets of Gothlapani, Gadhi and Shahilek in the headquarters.
With the technical support of Nepal Electricity Authority Baitadi distribution center and the financial support of the municipality, 72 bulbs have been installed in the markets of the headquarters. Mayor Pushkarraj Joshi Lakhabhai inaugurated the program by switching on the electricity authority.
This program has been started according to the policy program of Dasharathchand Municipality. This program is conducted for the purpose of lighting lamps in public places and temples in the city.
In the last financial year 2081/82, a budget of 999,735 was kept for the 'Ujyalo Dasharatchand' program. The bulbs installed last June were installed . A budget of 1 million has been allocated for this program in the current year. Mayor Joshi said that there is a plan to light the lights in markets and public places including Dehimandau, Musachaur, and Zhulaghat in the current year.
It is said that the bright Dasharath Chand program will cover all public places within the municipality. City chief Joshi said that national transmission lines will be installed in places where electricity lines are available and solar lights will be installed in unreached public places. The municipality said that the 'Ujyalo Dashrathchand' campaign will help in the beauty and safety of the market and public places.
