In the condolence statement, the Purchaundi Municipality has expressed its grief over the death of Anami Kunwar, who has lost an honest, conscientious and promising health worker. Acting City Chief Meena Dhanuk and Acting Chief Administrative Officer Vinod Kumar Kunwar issued a condolence statement on Tuesday, stating that all ward offices, educational institutions, and health institutions under the municipality have been given mourning leave.
24-year-old Anami Kunwar, working at Vijaypur health post, was found dead hanging in her room on Sunday night. According to the police, the relatives have taken over the body after the autopsy.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Makendra Kumar Mishra of District Police Office Baitadi said that the cause of Kunwar's death has not been revealed and the incident is being investigated.
