International Youth Day is celebrated in Dadeldhura showing respect to the working youth. Dhauli Damai, who was driving a three-wheeled auto, was awarded the 'Outstanding Youth Worker Award' to two youths involved in the salon business in a program held at the headquarters on Tuesday.

Damai was elected as a member from Amargadhi municipality-7 in 2074 and also became a member of the executive committee. The organizer Nepal Trade Union Congress Sudurpaschim Pradesh Youth Committee said that she was honored for her contribution while remaining active in politics and becoming self-employed through her own labor.

Harishkumar Ayer and Lakshman Ayer of Ajaymeru Rural Municipality-2, who are running salon business in Tufandanda, Amargadhi Municipality-5, have also been honored. According to Hari Bhandari, president of the

committee, the 'Outstanding Youth Worker Award' has been given to spread the message that one can live with self-respect without distinguishing between small and large labor.
