The two girls who drowned while bathing in the Mahakali river in Bhimdatta Municipality-11 Bhujela are yet to be found. Seven-year-old Sanvi Pant and six-year-old Jeevika Pant drowned in the river on Sunday and went missing while taking a bath.
Since this morning, the Nepal Police, Armed Police, Nepali Army and local residents have continued to search for the two girls in the river area, but they have not been able to find them yet.
'As soon as we got the news that the girl had drowned in the river, we searched the river until late on Sunday evening,' Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohra of District Police Office Kanchanpur said, 'Even though the search has been going on since this morning, we have not been able to find it yet.'
He says that due to the high flow of water in the river, there is difficulty in the search operation. It is said that both the girls belong to the same family
