70-year-old Dev Bahadur Bohra of Alital Rural Municipality-1 Finnegada Melkhark of Dadeldhura died after eating poisonous mushroom.

On the evening of July 7, he fell ill after eating poisonous mushrooms growing in his farm, and his relatives took him to the hospital two days later.

He was in critical condition due to the spread of poison in his body. He was brought to Dadeldhura hospital on 9th July when the situation became complicated. Although he was treated in the ICU of the hospital, his condition did not improve.

According to Police Inspector Dhani Chand of District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Bohra died during treatment on Tuesday evening.

After the start of the rainy season, the police has asked the general public not to eat wild mushrooms and to be cautious.
